All drivers must be older than 24 years of age, have a valid driver's license, provide a major credit card or bank debit card and have liability insurance on their own vehicle. If a debit card is used, there is a $200 deposit.
When will my credit card be charged for rental?
The full cost of the rental will be charged up-front on the provided credit card. Please note that additional fees may be incurred after vehicle has been returned and inspected for damage or fuel replacement.
What is the rental time period?
Rentals are based on a 24-hour period. If the car is returned after the 24-hour period but within two hours of the return time, no additional charge will be incurred. Vehicles returned after the grace period will be charged an additional day. There are no fees for cancellation, however the cancellation request must be received within 48-hours of reservation.
Do I need to purchase additional insurance on my rental?
We offer a comprehensive/collision damage waiver to cover our car.
What are the fuel requirements?
The rental vehicle should be returned with the same amount of gas as when it was received. Otherwise, additional refueling charges will be incurred.
Is there a cancellation fee?
There are no fees for canceling your reservation.
Is smoking permitted in rental cars?
Toyota Rent a Car maintains a 100% smoke-free fleet and any type of smoking (pipe, cigarette, cigar) is prohibited in all vehicles. A detail fee of $189.95 will be assessed if there is evidence of smoking in the vehicle.
Do you allow pets in the rental car?
There are no pets allowed in our rental vehicles. A detail fee of $189.95 will be assessed if there is evidence that a pet has been in the vehicle. Please note that renters will also be assessed a fee for cleaning the vehicle's interior for excessive stains dirt or soiling attributable to the renter's use.
What if I need to change an existing reservation?

May I extend my rental beyond the original return date?
Yes, please contact us at 850-863-6845 or 850-863-6846 or email email@example.com if you wish to extend your rental. We will be happy to accommodate your request if possible. Please note that your original rental rate may no longer be available and an additional authorization will be taken on the provided credit card.
Do you offer roadside assistance?
Yes, we provide complimentary 24-hour Roadside Assistance with every rental. Roadside assistance can be reached at 800-599-6766.
What should I do if there is an accident with the rental car?
First, contact the police to complete a proper report. Second, contact us at 850-863-6845, 850-863-6846, or email firstname.lastname@example.org for additional instructions. If vehicle is not able to be driven and needs to be towed, please contact Roadside Assistance at 800-599-6766.
If I plan to purchase a Toyota from your dealership, how do I get my three-day rental credit?
We will be pleased to connect you with a Toyota sales associate and provide a copy of your rental receipt.
No purchase necessary for Toyota rental only. Customer may purchase the vehicle they rented for a full credit on their rental agreement. Limit 1 rental agreement credit per purchase.
